Elisabeth Schloten is a technology and telecoms executive with a Tier 1 Consulting background. She is responsible for Enterprise Partner sales for Vodafone Germany, driving Vodafone revenue across the indirect channel. Elisabeth is passionate about using technology like IoT and UCC to enable new and flexible ways of working, and helping companies to become more productive and innovative. Having worked in multiple countries, Elisabeth combines an excellent cultural and market understanding with broad technology expertise and a passion for true understanding of customer needs. She enjoys thinking out of the box to solve complex strategic problems.

Before joining Vodafone, Elisabeth was responsible for the small and medium enterprise business for BT UK, managing the P&L, product and proposition development, and go to market. She has transformed the business by putting the customer at the centre of every proposition, and building up new revenue streams from IP Voice and Cloud services whilst managing the decline of the traditional fixed net business profitably.

Elisabeth gained experience working on board level strategic issues at McKinsey. Her relentless focus on customer needs and insight stems from her early career at Procter & Gamble.

Elisabeth has a family with two little boys. She is very passionate about enabling both men and women to find and manage their personal balance between family and career, and believes that there is no conflict between having a happy family and a successful career.

As Elisabeth has spent most of her career to date in male dominated industries, she is keen to encourage women and girls to pursue careers in technology. She mentors other women and is a strong promoter of flexible working.

In her free time, Elisabeth enjoys running and music. She has a private pilot’s license, but flying is on hold while the children are still small. Participating in the Red Bull Air Race is high on her bucket list, but probably some years away.
